Honors Global II ( 3 TC3 Credits)
This course is the continuation of the Global History and Geography curriculum taught as a course for TC3. This course is arranged chronologically and thematically. We will look at the political, economic, and cultural development of societies throughout the world. Topics to be studied include the Industrial Revolution, the World Wars, the Cold War, and current issues.
Additional emphasis will be placed on reading historical documents (primary and secondary sources), note taking, performing research, formal essay writing, in class discussion, and hands on learning experiences at the college level.
Honors Global is designed for a student who is willing to accept an academic challenge, is able to openly participate in a positive manner, and has the academic maturity to be a great listener while classmates or the teacher offer ideas. This is also a course for self-motivated students who are college-bound.
